Do I have to be trained to learn how to use Skuuber?
No training is required. Skuuber is an intuitive tool that walks you through the survey design process. You can easily do it yourself or we can do it for you.
You will input the product variables you want to test and Skuuber will do the rest. To set up the study, simply generate a Product Profile by supplying information about your product: photos, a brief description of the value proposition/benefit statement, nutritional information or directions for use, price and ingredients, if applicable. This profile will be used by Skuuber to build a Product Test Screen that you can preview and the respondent will see when the survey is administered.

How does it work?
Skuuber uses a high quality, reliable consumer research panel of more than 3 million US consumers to provide 500-1500 qualified panelists that mirror the general US consumer population. ISO certification standards and test-taking frequency limits ensure that you’re getting legitimate shoppers who opt-in to participate and not professional respondents.
In order to eliminate bias in multiple, unrelated-item studies, each respondent will evaluate your product individually along with other unrelated items. This sequential monadic methodology is intended to simulate a shopping environment. All respondents’ scores are used as input to our sophisticated demand modeling algorithms. How do I pay?
You will be invoiced after you field your item from your account. You can use your PayPal account to pay via crredit card or by PayPal direct. This is the fastest option. Invoice payment by mail is another option, but studies will launch only once we've recieved payment. Read more >

How long does it take to create a Skuuber Study?

Why study at the SKU level vs. concept level?

Is this like a focus group?
Absolutely not. Focus groups are group conversations used only to gather qualitative insight from about 10 people at a time and limited to the geography where the group is located. They are expensive (~$8000 each) and offer zero ability to generate projectible, quantitative results. Are the results real?
Skuuber exceeds current standards of research objectivity, statistical bearing and significance. Skuuber research is conducted among a large and significant sample (N=500) in order to produce results significant at the 95% Confidence Level and with a Confidence Interval of +/- 4.3. Most research is done at the 90% confidence level. That's not good enough for us, and not good enough for you.
Who is evaluating my product?
Skuuber works in close association with Research Now, one of the nation's finest consumer research panel providers. With over 3 million consumers available, it invites 500-1500 qualified, opted-in US online consumers with a demographic profile mirroring the US General Population to participate in the study and evaluation of your product. Do the survey respondents get paid to evaluate my product?
Research Now member respondents receive incentives in the form of e-Rewards currency. Members are compensated in a fair value exchange for their time; the longer the survey, the more the incentive. The e-Rewards currency can be redeemed for goods and services from e-Rewards partners including Borders Books, Blockbuster Video, e-Bags, Omaha Steaks, Magazine Subscriptions, and many others.
How do I get my results?

Can I get a formal proposal (aka: RFQ, Bid, Statement of Work)?
Sure, simply contact us to discuss your needs and requirements.
Can I request smaller sample sizes, different demographics and price quotes?
Yes! Chances are that a Skuuber Study done with a National Panel will be your most economical choice. It will deliver insight to a variety of demographic profiles of interest given that the overall sample size is 500-1500 and your subset will likely be measured with statistical significance. Nonetheless, custom research is available to suit your needs.
Do you provide follow-up presentations and consulting before or after a Skuuber Study is launched?
If you have questions, want help interpreting results and what to do next, feel free to call or email us. There is no charge for that. Should you require a consulting engagement beyond that, we can help you at additional charge.
Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied?
Skuuber will offer make-goods and re-run studies if we fail to execute your study according to specification, but does not provide refunds. Please be certain to read and understand our terms and conditions. Read more >
Are my results and data confidential and protected?
Absolutely! Only you as the named client will receive results and data. Once you sign in to your account, all content and transactions are password protected in our secure 128 bit encrypted server and always held to the highest standards of confidentiality and non-disclosure.
